Last day at school

Today was my last day at school. We left at 7:45 am, brought Elliott to daycare and we went to school. We went to Walmart before we went to school to get some things. We were at school at 9:00 am. We had to wait until all the children were inside and then I went to the class with the older children again. They were doing some language and I helped a girl with the assignments. After that they had to make a test about the book they read. I had to help a boy and write his answers down. After that I helped a girl with writing her answers down. When they had all finished their test, we went outside for gym. They did baseball and I watched and talked with some girls. After that we had lunch.
I went into the lunchroom with Loes as usual and after that we had our own lunch. After the lunch I went to the class with the little children again. First another class came in to tell them about the books they read. The children all liked it very much. After that they did some things about breathing. First they watched a short movie about it and after that they did some excercises themselves. After that it was time for another break. During the break I talked to some of the older kids in the lunchroom and they didn't want me to go. One girl kept asking 'Why do you have to go?' So at the end of the lunch I said goodbye to them and went back to the class with the little children. They were doing some math and I helped two boys. After that it was time to say goodbye to them too and they could go home. I also went home with Loes. Tomorrow I will be going back home. I had an amazing time in Canada!

Het was leuk om iedere dag te kunnen volgen wat er in Canada allemaal gebeurt. Je had het geluk dat je bij een erg leuk gezin mocht logeren. Wij zien je zondagmorgen weer op Schiphol. Groetjes ( ook aan Loes, Hans en Elliot) en tot morgen. -

Hoi Canada, wat vliegt de tijd toch vorig jaar met de kenedymars vertelde jee dat je een stageplek zocht, nu zit het er alweer bijna op. Fijn dat je heet leuk gevonden hebt, is toch wel spannend of je het leuk vind, een goede terug vlucht en ik kom snel luisteren hoe het is geweest, groetjes aan onze familie in Canada en tot snel harriette
