Last day before the weekend

Today was another day at school. We left at 7:45 am and brought Elliott to daycare again. We did some grocery shopping and then we went to school.
First I went in the class with the older children again. They are 9 years old. They were watching Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, because they also read the book. I brought some 'stroopwafels' with me, so we ate them while watching the movie. They all liked the 'stroopwafels' very much. At 10:15 they had gym and I went with them. First they went outside to do soccer baseball and after that they went inside to do dodgeball. I talked with a few girls about life in the Netherlands and about the differences between the Netherlands and Canada. The children are all very nice.
After that it was time for lunch and I went into the lunch room with Loes again. The children all ate their lunch and after that they went outside to play since it was 30 degrees. When all the children had left, we ate our lunch.
After the lunch I went to the class with the little children again. They were decorating paper bags to put all their Mother's Day gifts inside. One girl had already finished that, so I read a book with her. After that they watched some short movies about living and non-living things. When they had finished that, we went outside to look for living and non-living things. We only stayed outside for 10 minutes, because it was so hot. So after that 10 minutes we went inside again and it was time for another break.
After the break I went back to the class with the little children again and they were doing some exercises on probability again. I helped some of the children and then it was already time to go home. We walked to the school bus and all the children left. We also left, picked Elliott up at daycare and went home.

Hoi Canada zo de eerste week zit er al bijna op, en nu genieten van je vrije weekend. Veel plezier met wat je gaat doen schoppen of zo. Toon is jaloers hij houd van de dairy queen ijs. Fijn weekend allemaal
